The Sturgis Buffalo Chip® once again invites you to participate in our annual celebration of women in motorcycling. Join us for the Biker Belles ride and event for a day of Real Women, Real Stories, and Real Fun. Created to raise funds for South Dakota charities, Biker Belles bring women, their families and friends together to celebrate the role they play in shaping the culture, sport, art and the history of motorcycling. All, men and women, are welcome to join our gathering of mentorship, riding and sharing.
The 2013 Biker Belles event will again feature an inspirational symposium with a panel of leading women in the industry, a beautiful ride through the scenic Black Hills, and a special reception with Fashion show and live and silent auction. Riders will again be asked to make a contribution to join the Ride and festivities, 100% of which will again go directly to two South Dakota charities to benefit women-related causes.
Riders’ 2012 contributions went to Helping with Horsepower and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame. Helping with Horsepower is a program that uses contributions to help young women and girls who are at risk or are victims of abuse. The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum is a world-class motorcycle museum use the contributions to expand or enhance exhibits that feature women riders and their role in the history and culture of motorcycling.
